The Importance of Doing
I believe that we all want to do something positive with our lives and for me learning to play the guitar represents that inner drive to connect with a deeper part of myself. On my other blog Ride for Rand, I may have mentioned that I used to watch my dad play music and it was almost a spiritual thing for him. I've also always enjoyed playing music in my own, imperfect way. Somehow, I've always been shy to sing or play the guitar in front of others.
As the above quote suggests, this blog is me choosing to do. It is accepting my imperfections and posting my daily jams even though I don't always sing well. This is not meant to be a polished website, just a chance to explore some interesting songs and give them a try.
